Production Process
Brainstorming
After the initial client meeting the team sits down to brainstorm ideas to effectively convey the clients needs into a video format that is suitable for the target demographic. These ideas are formatted into a proposal and then sent to the client.
Script Writing
When a final concept is agreed on with the client a more detailed and complete script is created and sent to the client for final approval.
Storyboarding
Upon script approval 2D storyboards or 3D cinematic are created to flesh out spacing and camera moves required for the final shoot.
Planning
The planning stage involves crew, location and equipment hire according to client stipulated budget and deadline.
Production
Actual photography will take place when the client has approved both script and storyboard. The filming process can vary greatly dependent on the subject matter being filmed.
Edit
The footage is moved from recorded source, either tape or HDD, to a hard drive for editing. The editing time frame is dependant on how much footage has been shot and the desired length of the final project.
Post Production
In this stage any effects or titles that have been planned for in the script and storyboard are added.
Output
Dependent on the brief set by the client, the finished project can be outputted in a multitude of format from web based flash format to broadcast quality DVD.
